Shreetron India Limited (SIL) was incorporated under the name of UPTRON Shreetronix Limited on 1st Feb 1979 under company act of 1956 as a limited company. The company was subsequently renamed as Shreetron India Limited on 24th April 1984. Shreetron India Limited is a Public Sector ISO 270001:2013 company under the administrative control of Department of Information Technology and Electronics, Government of Uttar Pradesh (GoUP).

Shreetron registered office is in NCR C5, Site 4 Sahibabad Industrial area, Ghaziabad with land of approx. 3.5 acres.

Shreetron India Ltd was into the manufacturing of telecom DC power plants till 2002 & served their products & services to BSNL formerly DOT, Railways & NTPC.

Shreetron India Ltd is a “Nodal Agency” for undertaking IT and ITeS projects like Hardware, Networking, Software and Implementation of IT solutions, IT Training and other related jobs for various Government agencies of the state. Government of Uttar Pradesh has authorized Shreetron India for supply and installation of Computer Hardware and Networking, for providing Computer Training to Government Employees and also for Development and Implementations of Software Solutions and IT Projects on turnkey basis.

Govt of Uttar Pradesh authorized SIL for IT Trainings & providing the outsourced manpower to different Govt. of UP departments.

Shreetron India limited is the state nodal agency for aadhar authentication services (AUA/KUA) for taken up the DBT schemes and other projects where aadhar authentication is required.
